Our natural Loofahs are sustainably sourced straight from Uganda, where loofah gourds are traditionally grown, harvested, and naturally dried under the sun. By working directly with local growers, we ensure each loofa is 100% natural, biodegradable, and ethically sourced, while supporting small farming communities.
Unlike synthetic sponges, our loofas are made from the fibrous interior of the loofah plant, making them gentle on your skin and kind to the planet. Each loofa is carefully cleaned and prepared without harsh chemicals, preserving its natural exfoliating power.

Care
Natural loofahs arrive quite firm because they’re dried plant fibres. Getting them ready only takes a minute:
What to do:
Soak in warm water for 3–5 minutes to soften and expand the fibres.
Rinse well to remove any loose plant particles.
Give it a gentle squeeze — never twist hard, as this can tear the fibres.
Daily habits that help:
Rinse thoroughly after each use to remove soap and skin cells.
Shake out excess water.
Hang it somewhere airy — ideally outside the main spray area of the shower.
Avoid leaving it in a damp pile or closed container.
Time to swap it out if you notice:

Dark spots or mould
Fibres breaking apart easily
